Support Our School
The Spirit of Giving…
Catholic schools rely on donations to bridge the gap between tuition revenue and the cost of running an excellent education. Donations are tax deductible and help the school keep tuition affordable.
Annual Appeal
A campus-wide, year-long effort to raise funds for the operating costs of the schools at the Skaggs Catholic Center. Hundreds of Annual Appeal donors sustain or expand programs, train teachers in progressive instruction, and provides tuition assistance for families facing hardship – all to the benefit of today’s students, and tomorrow’s alumni. Make a secure gift online now.
Corporate Giving
Many businesses match employee giving. Ask your employer for the forms. We also apply to corporations and foundations for grants and in-kind goods, and partner businesses with academic programs.
Memorial/Commemorative Fund
Donations may be made in lieu of flowers for a loved one who has passed, celebrate a birthday, or honor someone special with a gift to the school. A card will be sent to the family by the school. Give on-line, noting to whom the honor is given.
Endowment/Legacy Funds
Endowments may be permanently restricted (with earnings rolled over each year to allow them to grow) or temporarily restricted (affording the school the option to draw down on earnings as well as the original principal). Families can build an endowment in their name for a specific purpose over the period in which their children were enrolled, leaving a legacy upon their graduation. In-Kind Gifts
Donations of goods help cut costs. Contact us for current wish list and needs. Students also conduct periodic canned food and clothing drives for charity for Christmas and during Catholic Schools Week. Capital Projects
Replacement/repair, capital equipment, technology, and property improvements are primarily funded by the Skaggs Catholic Center Capital Projects budget. In addition to net revenue from the cafeteria, Saint Paul’s Place Store, busing, daycare, outside rents/events, and other cost centers, the SCC receives corporate and foundation grants specifically designated for capital projects.
United Way
Donors may designate Skaggs Catholic Center Schools for part of their annual United Way pledge. Note our number 374686 on the pledge form.
